Training
- Training workshops covering the learning management system and other educational technology tools are available throughout the year. To review topics and request sessions, please submit an eLearning Training Request Form.

Professional Development Programs
Two professional development programs in online teaching and instructional design are available. Both programs are self-paced, and 100% online.
- Online Teaching Certifications – This certification is intended to develop skills for successfully building and teaching an online or hybrid/ blended course at UT Dallas. Coursework includes interactive learning modules and a project. Enrollment is open to UTD faculty, graduate teaching assistants and post-doctoral associates with online/ blended instructional responsibilities.
- Online Lecture Creation Course – This course is aimed at helping faculty, staff, teaching assistants and student workers learn various technology tools to create lecture materials. The course provides various online teaching resources, best practices and a choice of tools/ topics.
Support
Two professional development programs in online teaching and instructional design are available. Both programs are self-paced and 100% online.
Open Labs are available twice weekly for hands-on support with eLearning issues. Labs are hosted online and are open to UTD faculty, staff and TAs. No registration is required. Please use the link below to join during lab hours to connect with an eLearning team member. We recommend using a desktop or laptop to enable screen sharing.

The eLearning support team monitors this email from Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. when the University is open.

The Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) offers various resources to help improve instruction and enhance student learning experiences.
