Camtasia Studio
Camtasia is a screen video capture program that enables you to capture audio (coming from the computer or from the microphone) and video (coming from the computer or a webcam) from your computer, combine multimedia files into one project, edit your project, and produce your project into multiple formats.
Camtasia Download and License Information
- Download the trial version of Camtasia from this site.
- UTD Faculty and Staff can request licenses. Please email elearning@utdallas.edu for licensing information.
- For students to get the software free, it must be requested for the student by a faculty-sponsor. This means a faculty member must email elearning@utdallas.edu requesting the copy for the student and give the reason why the software is needed
